Antigen specific enzyme immunoassays for the plasma protein therapeutics industry

Antigen Specific EIABinding Site produces a range of enzyme immunoassays (EIA) designed to measure the level of specific IgG antibodies produced in response to immunisation.
The Plasma Protein Therapeutics industry uses antigen specific EIAs to screen plasma donor during the manufacture of hyperimmune globulin products. The levels of specific antibodies in donor units selected for hyperimmune globulin production are considerably higher than those measured by clinical range assays. In recognition of this, Binding Site has developed high measuring range Tetanus toxoid IgG and Varicella Zoster Virus (VZV) glycoprotein IgG assays specifically for plasma donor unit screening. The three main features of both of these assays are:

DescriptionMeasuring Range (IU/mL)PackCode
VaccZyme™ Tetanus toxoid IgG kit1.23 - 300 @ 1:1000 sample dilution
or
0.25 - 60 @ 1:200 sample dilution
10 x 96 testsMK010.4
VaccZyme™ VZV glycoprotein IgG kit0.5 - 105 x 96 testsMK080.5

For determining immune status and assessment of a patient's ability to respond to vaccination Binding Site also supplies VaccZyme™ VZV and Tetanus toxoid kits with lower measuring ranges.

Immunobiological reagents

Binding Site provides research antisera and conjugated antisera to a wide range of plasma proteins including α-1 antitrypsin, albumin, clotting factors, immunoglobulins and their subclasses. A full list of these antibodies can be found at www.bindingsitesera.com in the Polyclonal antisera/Conjugated antisera section.
