Anti GBM IgG Kit

Anti GBM antibodies are useful as an aid in the diagnosis of Goodpasture's syndrome. This anti GBM EIA kit is designed for the quantitative measurement of specific IgG autoantibodies against the glomerular basement membrane (specifically the C-terminal end of type IV collagen) in human serum.

Contact us for information on detection of anti-GBM autoantibodies using an enhanced indirect immunofluorescence assay.

Antigen

Human recombinant Goodpasture antigen.

Calibration

The assay is calibrated in U/mL against an arbitrary reference calibrator, as no internationally recognised reference preparation is currently available. A 5 point calibration curve is generated. A cut-off control is provided if using as a screening assay.

Result Interpretation

Result Interpretation
< 3.0 U/mL Negative
> 3.0 U/mL Positive

Screening Assay

Result Interpretation Action

OD less than cut-off control Negative Report as negative

Measuring Range
